This position assists in the opening of new accounts, maintenance of accounts, and the origination of loans and processing of lending activities. This position is responsible for assisting members with basic financial transactions in addition to presenting and cross selling a number of credit union products and services to members and assisting them to utilize these products and services. In addition this position presents the benefits of these products and services to members to encourage multiple account use and assists members in resolving account related problems. These duties are performed under supervision, and in accordance with existing procedures, policies, regulations and systems and involves a variety of general clerical duties.
Daily Operations would include, but not limited to, operating a cash drawer, cross recommending products and services, effectively answering member questions and concerns, educating members about all loan products offered by the Credit Union, interviewing members interested in applying for a consumer loan, general processing and underwriting of loan applications, and gathering required verification documents. Ability to perform teller duties when needed. Processes daily and monthly reports as assigned, i.e. renewal letters, periodic payments report, closed account report, and supports the Operations/Lending team concepts through effective communication and teamwork with all branches.
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED). One to three years related cash handling and member service experience in sales and/or lending.

Computer system concepts and methods, Data entry retrieval and inquiry using Windows in a network environment,Basic knowledge of a filing system, Basic knowledge of operation of office equipment, specifically: fax machine, copy machine, computer printers and 10 key adding machines
